Bret Fallis, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 64 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Bret was born on October 12, 1960, in Dighton, Kansas.
Bret dedicated much of his life to working as a tree trimmer and roofer. His took deep pride in his craftsmanship. He served in the United States Army, demonstrating his commitment to his country.
Bret would always lend a helping hand to those in need. He was the kind of person who would gladly give the shirt off his back to a stranger. Those who knew him will fondly remember his readiness to assist others, often going out of his way to help a stranger.
Bret had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He found pleasure in fishing, and he enjoyed using his hands to build and create. He would often visit auctions and garage sales, where he sought out antiques; he possessed an uncanny ability to assess the value of items at a glance.
He leaves behind his siblings: Russell Fallis, Jr., Jack Fallis, Clarisa Penny Garigin (Ralph), Babe Maxine Parks (Randy), Sharon Johns, Juanita King (Ed), and Mable Fallis. Bret was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Fallis, Sr. and Grace Darlene (Zumalt) Fallis, as well as his sister Christine Swafford and sister-in-law Judy Fallis.
