Bret H. Mace, 65, passed away on February 3, 2026. Bret was born on April 9, 1960, in Brigham City, Utah. He was the son of Harvey G. and Iona N. Mace. He attended school in Brigham City and Kaibeto, Arizona. Bret was offered a job in the oil field as a driller, from there his legacy of hard work took place. He was able to travel to and experience many different places including Alaska, Texas, Florida, and Canada during his time. This is where he sharpened his mechanic and truck driving skills.
Bret and his wife Tina were married January 19, 1980, and they eventually settled in Perry, Utah, where they raised their two children until moving to Logan, Utah in 2024.
Bret was a beloved husband and father who will be remembered for always being able to put a smile on your face with his sense of humor, his green thumb, and his easy-going personality. Bret always provided for his family even if it meant taking on odd jobs.
Bret is survived by his wife Tina, son Jesse (Kara), daughter Natasha (Anson), and his sister Connie Gilbert (Ken).
Bret is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Diona M. Perry and Janace M. Nelson.
Viewing will be held on February 21, 2026, at White Pines Funeral Services, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah from 9:00 – 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at the Clearfield City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Logan Regional Hospital ICU Staff for their care and support.
