On September 13th, 2025, the world lost a one-of-a-kind soul. Our beloved Brett Boozer of Greenwood South Carolina was born on September 5th, 1965 and never stopped being himself from that moment on. He grew up in College Park, Georgia and was an avid fan of The Falcons and Prince. You could often find him hanging out with friends at Tokens, DJing at clubs from Kentucky to Georgia, skating at Skate Towne, playfully teasing his sister on Facebook, or relaxing near the water with a fishing pole. No matter the what, Brett always had a boat—and an eye for the ladies. He also loved his dogs, Jax and Dobie, and his cats, Gracie, Flea, and Midnight.
Brett was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Boozer and Mitzie Eagle Boozer. He is survived by his sister, Sherri Boozer Andrews (Richard) of Newnan, Georgia; his niece, Ashley Garner (Alan) of Oxford, Georgia; and his nephew, Cameron Little of Newnan, Georgia. His wild and loving nature, sharp sense of humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed by his family, friends and loved ones. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
