Brett Kenneth Habermehl

Brett Habermehl lived a life that was anything but ordinary. Born on July 1, 1962, and passing peacefully on October 14, 2025, Brett lived life to the fullest.
Brett brought a rare blend of wisdom, humor, and heart to every moment. He was a man who could put beautiful flooring and tile in a home, solve a problem, and still make time to share a story that left you smiling.
Brett is survived by his children-Jesse, Chani, and Haleigh-who carry forward his strength and sense of adventure. He also leaves behind seven wonderful grandchildren.
To know Brett was to know loyalty, grit, and generosity. His memory will live on in the laughter around campfires, the lessons passed down, and the values he lived by every day.
A celebration of Brett's life will be held in the summer of 2026, where stories will be shared, memories honored, and his favorite tunes played loudly. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Hospice of Michigan, in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided.
