It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Brett passed away suddenly at his home in Lake City, Florida on October 27, 2023. Brett was born September 4, 1984 in St. Albans Vermont. He spent most of his childhood in the North Country. Brett left the North County when he was 16 and moved to Florida where he has been ever since.
Brett was a kind and loving man that would help anyone that needed it or not; he was a woodsman by trade and loved the outdoors fishing, horses, football and playing in the mud were his favorite pastimes. He loved his Florida Gators, Chomp Chomp. As everyone that knew him, knew he was a daredevil and jokester too. Brett has done a lot in his life time; the most precious thing in Brett's life was his beautiful wife Alisha and his children Raelynn and Stetson and Stepson Drake.
Brett is preceded in death his son, Ryan Daniel Lingenfelter; Grandmother, Marie Mckinnon; Grandfather, Larry Williams; his Aunt Dawn Lovell, and his Mother- in-law, Barbara Allison.
Brett is survived by his wife Alisha; daughters, Raelynn and Haylee; and his sons, Stetson and Stepson Drake; his mother, Michele Cook and Father Charles Cook;
brothers, Dustin Smith (Colton), Coty Stone (Dominique), Johnathan Prickett (Tiffany); along with his sister Amanda. stepbrother, Matt Cook; and stepsisters Ashley Cook and Aleesha Cook also survive.
He is also survived by his grandmothers, Molly Williams and Martha Machia; aunts and uncles, Karla Juneau, David Guay, Anson Williams, Roy Katon, Wendy Katon, Scott Lovell, John Juneau, Kenny Brown and Gayle Brown; father-in-law, James Allison; cousins, Courtney, Kate, Robert, Alicia, Summer, Gene, James and Roy; nieces and nephews, Gabe, Michael, Liam, Jameson, Noah, Colton, Brooke, Lily, Chris, Alfred, Jesse, Laynee, Hunter, Kaylee, Sarah, Misty and Hunter.
There were some very special people in Brett's life, Mama Tammy Prickett, Bobby Prickett, Bud Wood, Sparky Wood, Terry and Tammy McCalmont. Brett was loved by so many and will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever.

I remember on time he had scared my sister because he was wearing a clown costume and my sister is afraid of clowns and she was running through out the house but we all had a great laugh
