Brian David Ankenbauer, 42, of Burlington, KY passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at his home. He was born February 19, 1979 in Covington, KY to David and Connie Ankenbauer. He attended St. Henry High School before graduating from Conner High School. Brian was a sports enthusiast and he would watch any game that was on. The Seattle Seahawks were his favorite team, but Brian truly enjoyed all types of sports. He also enjoyed fishing, and taking in the beauty of nature. Brian was a proud father, and his time spent with his daughter was his most cherished moments. His family was always his top priority, and he took great pride in being a good father. He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Ankenbauer, his paternal grandparents: Alan and Dorothy Ankenbauer, and his maternal grandparents: Grover and Mary Deering. Brian is survived by his beloved daughter, Kaitlyn Ankenbauer, his loving father, David Ankenbauer, his dear sister, Julie (Cody) Cassedy, his nieces and nephew: Tyson, Josie, and Evie Cassedy, his friend and mother of his daughter, Robin Harris, and several other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial visitation will be held for Brian on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A service will be held immediately following at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Brian will be laid to rest with his late mother at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.

We are so very sorry for the death of Brian . We have lots of good memories of scouts and Burlington with him . We kept up with him on Facebook the past couple years so we know how proud he was of Kaitlyn. No words can help but we pray Gods peace and comfort to you all.
