Brian Alson Babb, 60, of White Oak, passed away on June 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 17, 1965 in Arlington, Texas, to Dennis Babb and Sandra Odetha Clark.
Brian had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed watching westerns, listening to music, fishing, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys — a true fan through and through. But above all, he loved feeding his cows. He often said it was his favorite thing to do, and anyone who knew him knew the peace and pride he found in that daily routine.
He is survived by his daughters, Tara Sanders of Kilgore, Brooke Tubbs of White Oak, and Raegan Babb of New York; his ex-wife, Lisa Allen; sisters, Cresha Babb and Sonda Kim Tubbs; aunts, Wanell Parris and Brenda Short; grandchildren, Dre Sanders, Keion Sanders, Kolbee Tubbs, Tyson Tubbs, and Tate Tubbs; and his faithful companion, his dog Deuce.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Babb and Sandra Clark, and Nana, Willie Clark .
He will be laid to rest beside his father at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Pritchett community of Upshur County.
