Brian Baird Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Jan. 2, 2026.
Brian Lee "Scoot" Baird Jr.

Scoot passed away unexpectedly on December 28th, 2025, in Bellevue, MI. Born on January 21st, 1982, to Brian Lee Barid and Norma Jean (Bissett) Yingling. Scoot proudly graduated from Plainwell Community School in June 2017 receiving his high school diploma. He was united in marriage on May 16, 2015, to Jenny (Titus). Scoot is survived by his wife, Jenny, five sons Brian Lee Baird III (Callie), Jace Baird (Aurora), Gage Baird, Jackson Baird and Charlie Titus (Aeris), two daughters Haley Baird and Annabell Rigel. He is also survived by his stepfather Richard Yingling, Sisters Jessica (Josh) Rajotte and Megan (Matthew) Yingling, Brother James Richard Yingling; and Stepbrother, Joseph Yingling.

Scoot also leaves behind grandsons Kai, Kingston, and Jaxon, in laws Charlie and Cindy Titus, and Sister-in-law Susie Waterman, many close friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The life of the party, silly, spunky, and spontaneous, Scoot was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back and never ask for anything in return. A hard worker, he provided for his family and never complained about being tired. He went without, so his children would have more and thought of others before himself. Scoot was an avid hunter, fisherman and motorcycle enthusiasts. He enjoyed camping, bonfires, motorcycles rides with Jenny and always looked forward to date nights with her as well as spending time with his family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father Brian Lee Baird in 1982 and his grandfather Norman Jack Bissett on December 27th, 2025.

With love Sis
