Brian Coughlin Obituary
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass to be held on the morning of Tuesday, May 7th at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Peace Church, 111 South Street, New Providence Arrangements by Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922.
Brian was born in Jersey City and lived in Berkeley Heights most of his life. He worked in Information Security for various companies over the years before retiring in February 2024. He was a coach on many of his children's youth sports teams and later a devoted fan of his grandchildren's teams.
Brian is predeceased by his father George Coughlin. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Antonia "Toni" Coughlin (nee Docchio); his loving mother Marion Coughlin; his dear children Erin Stitz and her husband Michael, Shawn Coughlin and his wife Daniela, and Justin Coughlin and his wife Nicole; his brothers Brenden, Mark, Tom and Kevin Coughlin and their families; and friends too numerous to list here. He was also the adored "Poppy" to his cherished grandchildren Natalie, Jack, Nora, Lucy, Ryan, Megan, Adam and Abigail.

Toni and family: My God, when I heard about Brian´s untimely death I was shocked beyond words. I know I´ve lost touch with a lot of the old gang over the years and am sorry about that. That is one of the drawbacks of my career. Please accept my sincerest condolences to all. A flood of very good memories have turned up in my mind since I heard the news. RIP Brian.
