Brian Chadwick Crutchley, 68, of Phoenix, New York, passed away at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, NY after an illness. He was born in Syracuse, NY to his late parents, Ruth Helen (Teall) Crutchley and Douglas Hay Crutchley on July 1, 1956.
Brian was a graduate of the Phoenix Central School District, the John C. Birdlebough High School, class of 1974.
Brian was a tool maker for Majestik Mold & Tool, Inc. located in Phoenix. He was an avid race fan and a crew member. He enjoyed attending the National Hot Rod Association events; Dirt Class Modified Stock Car racing; as well as other classes in the NASCAR circuit. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman to include: camping, hunting and fishing. Brian was a member of the VFW Post 5540 Auxiliary
Phoenix, NY.
He was predeceased by his parents, his father Douglas Hay Crutchley on November 30, 1990, his mother Ruth Helen (Teall) Crutchley on February 13, 2006.
Brian is survived by his loving son, Russel and his daughter-in-law Jamie Crutchley of Oswego; his brothers Allen "Bz" (Sharon) Crutchley of Phoenix, Lawrence "Larry"(Susan) Crutchley of Rexford, NY, and Wayne Crutchley of Marietta, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

There will be an upcoming Celebration of Brian's life later in the Spring of 2025.
