Robert E. Crutchley of Lake Ridge, Virginia, passed away on September 7,2025 at the age of 77.

Bob was born in Baltimore, MD to Jean and Robert Crutchley, on March 11 1948. He married Joanna (Corey) Crutchley on March 21, 1970 in Sharon, Massachusetts. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University where he was a proud member of the varsity lacrosse team. Bob was commissioned after graduating from college and served in the United States Army for 22 years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He then served in a civilian capacity, working in the Department of Defense for over 20 years.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jean Ann Lacy.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna, his children, John, Joshua, and Kaitlin, and his grandchildren, Robert, Aiden, Andrew, and Eleanor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation, which is active in Parkinson's research and in helping those afflicted with this disease.
