Kyo E. Low, age 92 of Woodbridge, Virginia passed away peacefully at Berea Health and Rehab Center on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Kyo was born in May 1933 in Manchuria to Kizo and Aki Emizawa.

She was raised in Manchuria and Japan. In her earlier years she was a seamstress, retail worker and cafeteria worker in Dale City, VA. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and spending time with her many family members and friends.

Kyo is preceded in death by her husband Stephen; father, Kizo Emizawa and Mother Aki Emizawa.

Kyo is survived by her brother Hideaki Emizawa and wife Masae Emizawa; son Warren and partner Leslie; her daughter Silvia Govoni and husband Robert; three

grandchildren: Justin Low, TJ Low, and Angie Govoni.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or Tunnels to Tower Foundation.

A private funeral service will be held at a future date.
