Brian Davis Obituary

Published by Forest Lawn - Cathedral City on Aug. 3, 2021.
Brian Keith Davis Jr., 32 Brian was born in Palm Springs, CA at Desert Regional Hospital on May 5, 1989 to Mr. Brian and Mrs. Carol Davis. He passed peacefully on August 3, 2021 at Desert Regional Hospital, Palm Springs, CA. Known as "Junior" by immediate family and friends, Brian grew up in Desert Hot Springs, Ca attending school in that city until transferring to Cathedral City High school, Cathedral City, CA, where he received his High School Diploma. He moved to San Diego to attend Grossmont College. In 2017 he returned back home to the Coachella Valley. Brian was known and loved by many. His smile was kind and infectious, when Brian smiled you smiled. His laughter bought so much joy to the world. When he laughed you knew he was in the room, spreading joy. He was a beacon of light. Brian was a man of deep thoughts and passions. As a youth he was a member of countless sports and debate teams, where he met many lifelong friends and mentors. He would spend hours debating his father on any topic related to the Lakers as well as politics. Anyone who knew Brian knew music was his true passion. In the wee hours of the night, he would sit up listening to new tracks while writing lyrics in his notebook. Brian is survived by his Mother Carol Davis, Father Brian Sr. and Sisters Tia and Victoria Davis, Great Grandmother Ina Young and a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Brian's family roots extend throughout Southern California, Louisiana and Kentucky. He Loved his family and friends with all his heart. Leaving this World way to early, even in his passing he fought the way he lived "trying his best". "May the music of Heaven flow on you as your love flowed on those you loved".

I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. Words cannot convey the pain I feel for your family. Brian was such a wonderful child and man, so full of laughter and joy. I enjoyed watching him play basketball along with Nick and his other teammates. Heaven has received a beautiful angel. I picture him shooting hoops with Robert in heaven. I pray for peace snd comfort for all who know and love Brian. God bless all of you. Sending love and prayers. ❤
