BRIAN "MR. BRIAN" DEPP, SR. Obituary
Brian Keith Depp, Sr. was born on Valentines Day, February 14, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He blessed the union of his parents,
Jesse H. & Mary M. Depp.
Brian professed a belief in Christ at an early age. He was baptized in Jesus' Name at Christ Temple Apostolic Church Over the years, Revival Temple Apostolic Faith Assembly was also his church home. There under the pastorage of Bishop R. H. Duncan, he became active in youth programs.
Brian completed his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis, Public School System. He attended School #44, and in 1975, he graduated from Northwest High School.
Brian was stylish and he had a flair for beauty. He channeled his talents toward cosmetology and continued his education at Michael's Beauty School. He completed the prescribed course of study and passed the necessary examination to become licensed as a talented cosmetologist and stylist. Brian worked at Great Clips, where he was both well-liked and trusted by his peers and his clients.
In his youth Brian formed an appreciation for team sports. He played baseball and football with the Holy Angels Catholic school teams. He was also an avid gardener and landscaper.
Those who knew Brian best would attest that he was Star Wars enthusiast. He collected all sorts of memorabilia and amassed a valued collection. He also had a heart of gold. He volunteered and assisted many worthwhile organizations and causes. "Mr. Brian", as he was also known, gave out pizza on Sundays behind School #60.
His favorite memories include: playing for Indianapolis Bears; D-J-ing at Wagon Wheel; playing saxophone and bass guitar with Babyface; seeing Prince in the studio live and talking to Maya Angelou in person.
Brian Keith Depp, Sr. departed this earthly life on March 24, 2025, at the age of sixty-seven years one month and eleven days. He leaves loved one who preceded him which include Eula Kelly, Ruby Depp, Patricia McNary, Jesse "Boom" Depp, Tim Depp, James Depp and Charles Depp.
He is survived by a son, Brian Depp, Jr; daughter-in-law, Laura Depp; granddaughter, Brielle Depp; other grandchildren, Aaron Thompson, London Ayer, Levi Barlow, Dylan Barlow, Emily Nadeau, Jade Sanders, and a host of nieces and nephews.
