Reba Irene Benson

Reba Irene (Glass) Benson, age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away March 16, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis on September 20, 1941, to Dale and Irene (Inman) Glass, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter on Prospect since she was 18 years old, having been Honor Queen of Job's Daughters. Reba worked for Perry Township Schools for 20 years with special needs children, and in the food service for 8 years. She married Steven Benson on February 3, 1968, and together they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. She loved NASCAR and reading, as well as spending time with her family. Her cats held a special place in her heart.

Reba is survived by her husband: Steven Benson; and children: Steven (Michele Powers) Benson, Jr., and Kim Benson.

She is also preceded in death by her: uncle: Roy John Inman; and sister: Jane Burris.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
