Brian Karl Descoteaux, 54, passed away on November 7, 2025, at his work in Carrol, NH. He was born on September 30, 1971, in Concord, NH, the son of Raymond and Joyce Descoteaux. He was the loving husband of Connie (deBree) Descoteaux. They were recently married at their house in Dalton, NH on June 21, 2025, and shared 33 years together.
Brian was a devoted family man and skilled heavy-equipment operator at Hutter and Pike. Outside of work, he embraced a life of creativity and self-sufficiency. Whether crafting something new in his woodworking shop, tending his garden, or caring for his homestead, he found joy in working with his hands and living close to the earth.
In his free time, Brian could often be found fishing, enjoying a good seafood dinner, or riding around on his beloved tractor, “Hank the Tank.” Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his children and grandchildren.
Brian is predeceased by two brothers, Kevin and Mark Descoteaux. He is survived by his spouse, Connie (deBree) Descoteaux, son, Corey Descoteaux, daughter, Chantel Descoteaux, step-son, Jared Peterson, and his siblings, Lynn Clark, Diane Colpitts, and Kieth Descoteaux. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Mason, Kelvyn, Liam, Jace, and Kayden.
His warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
No formal services are to be held per Brian’s wishes.
