Brian Allen Doherty born December 23, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 23, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.
Brian was known to his family and friends for his kindness and generosity. He was always the guy that would help someone in need. Brian had a passion for cars and cooking, especially drag racing and NASCAR. He was a fabulous cook and was a two-time first place winner in a BBQ cook off contest in Ohio. Brian also liked to go fishing when he could. Brian was a dog lover as well, never known him to be without a canine companion.
Special thanks to his niece Sandy Boyce and his friend Matt Wancevich for taking such good care of him in his time of need. We all loved him very much and will forever be missed.
Brian is survived by his father, Donald A Doherty; sister, Brenda (Charles) Toccalino-Crete; his son, Eric A Doherty; several aunts and uncles; as well as nieces and nephews.
Brian has gone to join his mother, Pamela Doherty; his late wife, Karen Doherty; and his grandparents.
