Billy had the warmest smile and most contagious laugh. I know he will be missed by all his family. While his Galvin cousins couldn't make the service, please know he has a place in out hearts and will be warmly remembered. We miss you all.

I met you in the 1970´s and sad to hear you have passed. We hung out in Woodmont during the summer.

I met Billy in 1973 when I relocated to Connecticut. Together with other new friends, I spent many fun times laughing, dreaming, and sharing in each other's challenges, victories, and mess-ups. Billy was an encouragement and a jester who always concluded at the end of any gathering that the future had good things in store.
Over the years, our paths divided a bit, so I seldom had opportunity to spend time with Billy. I remember a time after many years apart that I sought him out and asked if he would like to participate in a 100-hole golf marathon to benefit our school. He laughed aloud and asked, "Are you crazy?" I assured him it would be a great time, to which he laughed again and said, "What are you trying to kill me?" I guess he knew his limitations that I had not considered, but as always, he remained jovial.
I would have loved to bomb around the course in a golf cart with Billy, but I guess I'll have to wait until we meet again.
Billy, of all the folks I've met over these many years, I can truly say you have been one of the most sincere, concerned, and good friends to me. I'll always remember you and the times. I love you and appreciate that you made the world a better place!
Condolences to Billy's family, whom we have always respected and appreciated. May the comfort of our Lord overtake you in any grief you are feeling. ... weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
