Brian "Norm" Doremire, 45, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
He was born August 2, 1978 in Centralia the son of LaVon Alvin Doremire, Sr. and Agnes Mae (Steuer) Doremire.
In addition to his mother, Agnes Doremire of Odin, he is also survived by his five siblings: Tina Riddle and husband David of Woodlawn, Cecilia Ross of Centralia, LaVon "Lonnie" Doremire, Jr., Theresa Altom of Hoffman, and Janet Sanders and husband Gary Joe of Centralia; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and bonus nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and numerous special friends.
Brian was preceded in death by his father: LaVon Alvin Doremire, Sr., brother-in-law: Dennis Ross, niece: Adrienne Riddle, and a bonus great-nephew: Jimmy Myers.
Brian was so proud of his achievement of his Associate Degree for a Personal Trainer. He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan and enjoyed watching UFC matches. He had a passion for being outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, or just enjoying nature. His favorite TV Show was Cheers. Brian's family was a big part of his life, especially his mother. He would call and check on her every day. He will be missed.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Joshua Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Per Brian's Family, they request everyone that will be attending to wear Khakis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, so that they may help share Brian's Story about Alcohol Awareness and they will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Doremire Family.
