Brian C. Dowling, 60 of West Haven, CT entered eternal rest Sunday, September 15, 2024 at St. Raphael (Yale) Hospital. Brian was born in Summit, NJ, November 3, 1963. He was the son of the late Thelma Dowling and John H. Lawson, Jr.
He grew up in Plainfield, NJ and relocated to Bridgeport, CT at the age of 17. He was a hard worker and worked at Printer Circuits Unlimited for 16 years. He then received a job with the City of Bridgport Housing Authority which he worked for 20 years until he retired. He was also a graduate of Workshop in Business Opportunities (WINBO). During this period, he achieved the highest honors and received several accolades and certifications.
Brian met the love of his life Stephanie Moyer in 1998, through this wonderful courtship a beautiful union was created on October 6, 2001. Brian and Stephanie Dowling welcomed two beautiful children Brianna and Stephon Dowling. Through the many endeavors that Brian explored, his greatest achievement was the development of DHI, he was a master at everything he set his mind to; his aim was to be the best and guess what? He was! In addition to achieving some of his dreams, Brian was a dedicated father and provider for his family. Whenever he needed a word of wisdom his mother-in-law was always there for him, who he affectionately called Mom and the same respect was given to Dad. Mother & Deacon Moyer.
Brian's dream home was settled in West Haven, Connecticut. Brian and his family thrived to live the best that life had to offer. Brian was a wiz at electronics at any given time a new package would arrive at the house. His enthusiasm to try new things was top of the list, when add to the cart and send was created Brian's beautiful smile always appeared. If there was every a doubt of who you are, a quick call to Brian would brighten your day, because Brian was definitely a very funny guy, his comical sayings were always an inspiration.
Brian was acquainted with the Lord, he knew his personally, he was baptized by Bishop Smith at the Apostolic Mission in Bridgeport, CT..
Brian leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Stephanie Dowling, his sons, Rahkime Cousar, Rondell Dowling (Ohemaa) Brian Dowling Jr., and Stephon Dowling. His daughter, Brianna Dowling, His brothers, Keith Lawson, Andre Lawson, Rodney Lawsaon (Sylvia), Ronald Lawson, John H. Williams, Jeffrey Williams (Janet). His sisters, Lisa E. Williams, Nina Williams and Kelly Williams, Grandchildren, Anaiya Moses (Hayden), Rahkime Cousar Jr., Josiah Adade, Judah Adade, Zechariah Dowling, Aaron Adade-Dowling and one great grandchild Josiah Rivera and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
