Brian Dye Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lewis Funeral Home - Moorestown on Dec. 12, 2025.
Brian C. Dye, 48, a lifelong resident of Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away on

December 10th, 2025, with his family closely surrounding him. Born on June 19th, 1977, Brian's life was marked by his compassion for all living things and leaves an immeasurable absence.

Brian will be remembered for his gentle soul and the quiet love he gave so freely. His warmth was felt not only through his kindness, but also in the simple joys he shared, including his unforgettable giggle, which often made others laugh right along with him and reflected the lightness and sincerity of his heart. His kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Family meant everything to Brian. He shared an especially close bond with his Mother, Linda (Marks) Dye with whom he confided in fully, especially during life's deepest struggles. Their relationship was rooted in unwavering support. Brian was also deeply loved by his father, Robert Dye, his brother, Bob Dye, and his sister, Laura Dye.

Brian lovingly survived by his mother, Linda (Marks) Dye, and her longtime companion, Michael; his father Robert Dye; his brother, Bob Dye; and his sister, Laura Dye. He is also survived by his grandparents, Russell & Anna Marks, and was preceded by his grandmother, Helen Nelson. Brian will be deeply missed by his extended family, aunts, uncles, and friends who's lives he touched. Brian adored his nieces and nephew - Marissa (Peter), Haleigh, McKenna, Maddox, and Kinsley-loving them as if they were his own and finding great joy in them, especially in his recent days.

Brian had an extraordinary tenderness towards animals and all living things. His beloved cat, Mousi, was his constant companion and a source of great comfort. He believed deeply in gentleness and kindness, often guiding even the smallest of creatures-like ants- safely back outdoors rather than harming them-small acts that reflected the depth of his heart and his respect for life. As Brian once shared:

"Look for something positive in every day, even if some days you have to look a little harder."

A private service for family and close friends will be held on 10 am ,Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St. Moorestown, New Jersey,

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brian's memory to Burlington County Animal Shelter. https://burlingtoncountynj.formstack.com/forms/animal_shelter_donations
