Brian Keith Echols, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 59. Born to Keith Echols and Patricia Vargo. Brian lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his family. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Armed Forces - Army, carrying forward values of honor and commitment that shaped his life.
Brian was a devoted fan of OU football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also enthusiastic about fishing. These passions brought him joy and connected him with family and friends throughout the seasons.
He is survived by his father, Keith Echols; his mother, Patricia Vargo; his stepfather; George Vargo; his brother, Steven Echols; his sister-in-law Stephanie Echols; his half-brother Paul Vargo; his half-sister Amanda Vargo; his stepbrother Drew Cleveland; his stepsister Adria Winans and his nephew; Seth Echols. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and the deep bonds he shared with his family.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a future date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of his life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a veteran's organization or charity of choice, ensuring Brian's legacy of service continues.
