Funeral Services for Mr. Brian Scott Ezell, 54, of Bossier City, LA, formerly of Gilbert, LA, will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro with Rev. Frank Black officiating. Interment will follow at Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert.

 

Mr. Ezell was born September 22, 1969 and passed away on October 17, 2023. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Ezell enjoyed fishing, snacking, cooking, a good barbeque, playing practical jokes, but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete Ezell and Carolyn Cox Ezell; grandparents, Rufus Ezell and Mertie Ezell, Benjamin Cox and Ruby Moore; and niece, Courtney Ezell.

 

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Sherry Daniels Ezell; five children, Cole Ezell, Johnathan Ezell and fiancée Linda, Elizabeth Ezell Chandler and husband Joe, Joshua Parker, and Destiny Daniels; grandchildren, Drake, Chloe, Caroline, Ellie, Remi, Willow, Carter, Mia, Cannon, Peyton, Bentley, Aubree, JR, Brooklyn, Noah and Axle; brothers, Larry Ezell and wife Marjorie, Steve Ezell and wife Vicki and Keith Ezell and wife Kerry; sisters-in-law, Myra Grayson and husband Dale, Jenny Daniels and husband John, Gloria Daniels and husband Mark, and Brandy Daniels; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Pallbearers will be Cole Ezell, Johnathan Ezell, Joe Chandler, Joshua Parker, Roger Grayson, Chris Grayson and Cody Daniels.

 

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro.
