Brian Fink Obituary

Brian David Fink

Brian David Fink was born on Oc. 1, 1976, in Palmerton, and joined his heavenly Father and Savior on Aug. 8, 2024, in Lawton, OK.

Brian was the son of David A. and LaRue M. (Miller) Fink of Andreas. He grew up in a faith-filled, loving family with four siblings.

He attended Tamaqua Area High School, where he played basketball, baseball and football, graduating in 1994.

Brian joined the military at age 17, serving in the U.S. Army from 1994-1997.

He then moved to Lawton, serving in the Oklahoma National Guard for another five years.

He attended Cameron University, where he played baseball and received his accounting degree in 2002. He then became a staff accountant at Hatch, Croke and Associates from 2002 until his death.

Brian married Val Vidaurreta in 2003 and become a loving member of their family. In their union, they were blessed with their beautiful son, Keegan, who was born Feb. 28, 2004. Brian poured love and devotion into Keegan with sports and Jesus.

Brian had a beautiful, close bond with his family in Pennsylvania. He traveled home at least once a year, devoting his love and energy into his time he was able to spend with them. During those trips, Brian was known as the fun uncle. He would make it a priority to always spend time with the kids. If there was an activity or game they wanted to do, he would drop everything to spend time with them. He loved and valued the title "Uncle Brian" and took it very seriously to pour love into each one of them while he was home.

Brian attended Grace Fellowship Church and served in the Grace Kids Ministry.

On Sept. 9, 2023, Brian married Lesley Mallow. In this union, Brian gained another loving family, and bonus children, Cobey and Jade.

He was a man of few words, but that was okay because he was a man of action. He was a humble man who loved like Jesus, served like Jesus, and lived like Jesus.

Brian loved to be outdoors, he loved watching sports and he loved the value of family. He was a true testament to the word servant.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, David Fink, in 2022.

He is survived by his wife Lesley; son, Keegan Fink, and his girlfriend, Haley Carter, of Lawton; bonus son and daughter, Cobey Mallow and Jade Bessemer, of Geronimo, OK; mother, LaRue Fink of Andreas; sisters, Karen Billman, and her husband, Joel, and Kim Kistler, and her husband, Tim, and brothers Barry Fink, and his wife, Robin, and Benjamin Fink, and his wife, Sarah, all in Pennsylvania; father and mother-in-law, Steve and Paula Mallow of Geronimo, OK; sister-in-law, Joyce McCallck, and her husband, Mike; brother-in-law, Steven Mallow of Lawton; nieces: Tiffany, Beth, Addison, Emily, Kyra, Lilly and Elaina; nephews, Keith, Kaden, Dean and Jace; great-niece Lilly and great-nephew Caleb; Godmother and Aunt, Teena Miller; many cousins; Keegan's mom, Val Tibbs, and her husband, Danny, her parents, Tomas and Anne Vidaurreta; his sister-in-law, Cambria Harris, and her husband Jory; and many friends.

Service: Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, Grace Fellowship Church, Lawton, with pastors Josh Trueblood and Rick Bustos officiating.
