Brian Dale Fitzgerald

Brian Dale Fitzgerald entered heaven's gates on December 22, 2025 after a brief stay at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas.Brian was born July 13,1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Walter and Norma Fitzgerald. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, worked in the Optical Industry most of his career and moved to Lewisville, Texas in 1978.

He was very proud of his three children, Scott, Drew, and Kelly Fitzgerald. Brian was known for his generosity, mild disposition, and great sense of humor. He was always ready to greet others with a smile and a joke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, David Fitzgerald, his sister, Sharon Robinson, his sister-in-law, Cathy Fitzgerald and his son, Scott Arthur Fitzgerald. He is survived by his other two children, Kelly Patricia Fitzgerald and Andrew O'Dowd Fitzgerald, his wife Ashleigh and their two daughters, Taylor and Nisha of Newberry, South Carolina and his two other grandchildren, Aynsley and Landon Fitzgerald (Scott's children) of Flower Mound, Texas. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Fitzgerald, of Palm Coast, Florida and nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces.

There will be no formal funeral per Brian's wishes. The family will have an intimate ceremony at the location of their choosing.
