Publish in a newspaper

Brian P. Fulco, 54, of Willington, CT passed into eternal life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Dominic and Marie (Destro) Fulco, Jr. Brian was raised in East Hartford before moving to Gales Ferry, CT with his parents as he started high school. Brian graduated from Saint Bernard High School in Uncasville, CT in 1989 where he excelled in baseball and football and later graduated from Central Connecticut State University. Brian spent much of his career using his environmental studies degree as a soil testing analyst and later as a welding analyst. Besides his "day" job, Brian was also a stagehand, and a proud member of IATSE Local 84, working behind the scenes to set up for shows and concerts in Connecticut. As a rock music aficionado, that gave him a front row seat to many rock concerts. He also fulfilled his music passion by playing with many friends in several pick-up bands. Brian was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 6934 in Ashford, CT. He volunteered at the YMCA in Granby, CT, and as a Little League coach in Willington. Brian is survived by the wife he cherished, Thuy (Do) Fulco, and their two children, Brian Patrick Fulco II and Bria Patricia Fulco whom he adored. He is also survived by two brothers, Dominic Fulco III and his wife Ann of Groton, CT and Mark Fulco and his wife Nella of Southwick, MA; and his nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Eva, Alexander and Natalie Fulco. Brian had several life- long friends who were always there for him in his times of need. A calling hour will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT 06278. Burial will follow the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17 Wickham Rd., Glastonbury, CT. Memorial donations may be made to St. Philip the Apostle Church.
