Brian William Gogan

Brian Gogan, passed away peacefully, on February 5, 2026 after a brief illness. Brian is survived by his wife Linda Gogan; his two daughters Margaret Fitzgerald (Tom) and Jacqueline Myers (Stan); stepson Michael Meier (Sandy) and six adoring grandchildren, Brian Fitzgerald, Caite Fitzgerald, Matthew Fitzgerald, William Fitzgerald, Eric Myers and Kyle Myers; his siblings Thelma Rose and Kevin Gogan (Sharon) and many nieces and nephews.

Brian was born on December 24, 1938, in London, England to Ann and William Gogan. Brian was predeceased in death by his parents and brothers John, Patrick, Bill and Dick.

Brian was born and raised in London, England. He migrated to California with his first wife Mary Gogan, in 1960 with the advice and help of his four older brothers. He and Mary raised their two daughters, Margaret and Jacqueline in San Mateo, California. After going their separate ways, Brian and Mary remained friends. Brian married Linda Meier and took on the role of stepfather to Linda's son Michael. Brian was a very loving and caring Husband and Father, and kind to everyone. Brian remained British until the day he died and if you ever asked him where he was from, it was always London. Brian had many hobbies with extensive train, stamp and coin collections. Brian worked hard his whole life and achieved wonderful things. All will miss him.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10:00am, Graveside at Ascension Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
