Brian Lee Graves
1965-2025
Brian Lee Graves, 59, Savannah, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025.
He was born September 4, 1965 in St. Joseph to Wayne and Charlotte (Miller) Graves. He grew up in Faucett, Missouri, and graduated from Mid-Buchanan High School. He was a longtime member of the RLDS Church, now the Community of Christ.
Brian married Dana Renee Calloway on June 1, 1997. They later divorced but remained co-parents.
He started working in the restaurant business at age 14 as a dishwasher, working his way up to manager of Oliver's Restaurant. He later was manager of a Snow White location. In later years, he was a foreman at Miller Pipeline.
Brian loved just about anything outdoors, especially on the water – camping, boating at the lake, and water-skiing. He also had a love of animals.
While his sharp wit led him to be an "acquired taste of a man," Brian was definitely a loving dad, grandfather, and brother, who loved to spend time with his kids.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Graves; and grandparents.
Survivors include his children, Amanda Graves, Chelsie Carroll (Chris), Colten Graves (Andria), Lane Graves (Maggie), Maddelyn Vega (Zachary), and Brookelyn Graves; six grandchildren, with one on the way; father, Wayne Graves; sister, Cindy Wharton (Tommy); partner, Toby Strasser; former wife, Dana Graves; and his beloved dogs, Gizmo, Lucy, and Rocky.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial contributions to the ALS Association. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
