POLKTON - On Monday, August 28, 2023, Mr. Brian Wilson Griffin, 54, passed away peacefully at his home.
There will be a memorial service at 5:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Rocky River Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Stegall officiating.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Brian was born January 8, 1969 in Union County, NC and was a son of Edward Dean Griffin, Sr. and Nita Baker Arrowood. He formerly owned and operated B.W. Griffin and Son Trucking and later worked with Edwards Wood Products as a truck driver.
He enjoyed riding horses, hunting and collecting guns.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy; his children, Thomas Griffin of Inman, SC, Taylor Griffin (Haleigh) of Concord and Mary Griffin of Burlington; his grandchildren, Brently Griffin, Addilyn Williams and Kyrie Williams; his mother, Nita Arrowood of Polkton; his father and step-mother, Ed and Judy Griffin of Ansonville and his aunt and uncle, Rose Baker of Jefferson, SC and Tony Baker of Marshville.
