Brian Holder Obituary
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Ann Holder, brother Gregory Steven Holder, and father Kenneth Eugene Holder.
Brian was a Street Sweeper Operator with Commercial Power Sweeping for 30 years. He was best known for his customer relationships.
He always made sure his customers were satisfied with his services. Anyone that knew Brian, knew he didn't know a stranger. He loved to talk and joke around with anyone that crossed his path.
Brian loved his family and friends very much, had a lifelong love of the band Stryper, cared deeply for animals, and had a heart of gold.
He is survived by his mother, Laura L. Holder, daughter, Stephanie L. Holder, brother Kenneth R. Holder (Sherri), sister Karen R. Holder, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Brian's name may be made to the ASPCA. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory Downtown Suffolk Chapel is serving the family.

To Louise, Kenny, Karen, and the rest of Brian´s family...please know how very sorry I am to learn of Brian´s passing. I watched Brian grow up and I have many fond memories of hearing and watching Brian and Greg outside playing games and being adventurous in Nansemond Shores. Especially basketball on the side of their house on warm summer days...often into the evening hours after sunset. They would visit my son and I´d gather up the three of them, plus others, and I´d have them run down the length of the backyard and pass them the football-they were very athletic...such fun! I remember they were big-time Dallas Cowboy fans. ...Where you saw one, you´d usually find the other-they were so close Those were wonderful days. My thoughts, memories, and prayers are with each of you during this so difficult time...
