Brian Thomas Hussey, born on August 15, 1960, in Yonkers, NY, passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 64. Growing up in Kingsbridge section of the Bronx then moving to the suburbs to Tappan, NY and finally residing in Mamaroneck, NY, Brian was a loving member of his communities.
Brian's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to those he loved. He was a devoted father to his son, James, and took immense pride in his role as a father figure to his stepchildren, Nate and Jackie Lynch. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he was a proud brother to Mike (Elyse), Mary, and Sean (Michelle) and a beloved uncle to Danielle, Connor, Chris and Jack. Brian's ability to go beyond for those he cared about was a defining trait that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Brian is survived by his loving spouse, Ann Marie Lynch (McNally) and will be reunited with his predeceased wife,Catherine. His relationships were a testament to his generous spirit and the deep connections he formed throughout his life.
Brian was a proud member of Local 1199 and was enjoying retirement after a 30 year career with New York Presbyterian at The Allen Pavilion.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a wake on Tues., April 22nd, at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY, from 3 PM to 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day at 10AM at St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt, NY.
In honoring Brian's memory, we celebrate a life dedicated to family and the enduring legacy of love and support he leaves behind.
