Brian Thomas Johnson

Brian Thomas Johnson, age 37, of Sylvania, Ga passed away on February 14, 2025 at home. He was a kind and gentle soul who loved his family immensely, especially his daughter Aaliyah. Brian took great pleasure joining his mother at the nursing home visiting with the residents, bringing them a smile and a kind word. He genuinely loved helping others. In spite of his condition he never let it drag him down. Brian was a die hard Georgia Bulldogs fan trying hard to never miss a game. He also enjoyed fishing. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Elizabeth Dillon and Edward Lewis and his sister, Jennifer Mullins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beautiful daughter, Aaliyah, whom he loved deeply. Also surviving are his mother and stepfather, Helen Burnworth and Tony Lewis; his sister, Emily (Daniel) Wiegle; his brothers, Zach (Racheal) Talbot, and Anthony Lewis; his grandmother, “Memaw” Joyce Lewis; and numerous aunts and uncles.

 A celebration of Brian's’ life will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 in the James M. Strickland Memorial Chapel of Thompson-Strickland- Waters Funeral Home from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M.
