William Brian Karabinos, a man whose love and passion for life touched many, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on October 31, 1948, in Jersey City, New Jersey, William's journey was marked by an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and the community he so dearly served. He was a beacon of generosity, whose heart of gold will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

William's early years were spent in the bustling streets of West New York, NJ, where he was a spirited presence in his family home. He was the beloved son of the late William Karabinos Jr. and Nelle J. Karabinos and shared a deep bond with his sister Kay Karabinos. Though he later faced the loss of his brother Craig and his parents, the strength and love of his family remained a guiding force throughout his life.

A proud graduate of Memorial High School, William's thirst for knowledge and personal growth led him to Rowan University, where he earned his degree and laid the foundation for his future endeavors. His educational pursuits were a testament to his belief in the power of learning and personal development.

William's professional life was as varied as it was impactful. He began his career as a Physical Education Teacher at Robert Waters Elementary School, instilling in his students the value of health and teamwork. His dedication to physical well-being seamlessly transitioned into a successful 35-year career as a Chiropractor, where he served his community with distinction, providing care and comfort to countless individuals.

Beyond his professional life, William was a man of many interests. An avid sports enthusiast, he found joy in the competitive and communal aspects of basketball, golf, baseball, and bowling. His love for sports was matched only by his talent for bartending, a skill he showcased every Wednesday with his dear friend Steve. Together, they created concoctions that delighted the taste buds and warmed the spirits of all who had the pleasure of their company.

At the heart of William's world was his family. He shared a loving marriage of 13 years with his wife, Rachel Valdivia, whose companionship and support were a source of constant joy. William was a devoted father to his son Brett, providing guidance and love that helped shape Brett into the man he is today. His presence as a brother, husband, and father was characterized by unyielding love and a passion for nurturing the bonds that hold a family together.

William's legacy is one of love, passion, and generosity. Those who knew him were touched by his caring nature and the depth of his character. He had an innate ability to go above and beyond for anyone in need, and his actions left a lasting impression on the hearts of many.

As we bid farewell to William Brian Karabinos, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and his spirit will forever be a cherished presence in the lives of those he loved. William's journey on Earth may have concluded, but he will forever hold a special place in our hearts as a remarkable individual, embodying strength and resilience until the very end. He was a loving father, devoted husband, and cherished friend, and his memory will continue to inspire us all.
