Brian D. Lange, age 77, of Akron, Ohio former resident of Wausau passed away 01/09/2025 with family at his side. 

Brian was born June 27, 1947 in Wausau, WI and graduated from Wausau High School in 1966. He served his country in the US Army with 21 years of service, serving in Vietnam 67-68, Korea and Germany and state side duty. Brian was a lifetime member of VFW 3383 and VVA Chapter 900. He was retired from truck driving and warehouse work in 2008. 

Brian is survived by his wife of 35 years Heike Lange; brother Edwin Lange; sister Tammie (Phil) Engle; five children Tracy (Brian) Justen, Shannon (Tom) Milner, Christie (Glenn) Bixler, Jason (Annette) and Chad (Tracy) Lange; as well as 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. 

Brian was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Doris Lange; and a son Scot Allen Lange. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday January 21, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home with a memorial service to begin promptly at 1 pm. A Graveside committal with military honors will be at 2:45 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
