Brian Lynn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Healey Funeral Home - Haddon Heights on Jan. 4, 2026.
Brian Lynn "Lynnie" of Maple Shade, NJ passed away suddenly on December 31, 2025 at age 51. Survived by the love of his life, Valerie (Val) Tonzello. Son of the late William (Billy) F. Lynn and the late Patricia E. Lynn (nee O'Rourke). Loving brother of William Lynn (Christina) and Tricia Lynn and the late, Joseph Lynn (Eileen). Brother-in-law of Tina (Joey), Annette (Nick), Paula, and Vincent (Monica). Kind-hearted Uncle to Alex (Liz), Kyra, Matthew, Madison (Matt), Brendan, Ava, Emily, Brianna, Nikki, Joey (Morgan), Lana, Vincent, Lorine (Preston), and Caitlin. Loving Great Uncle to Daxton, Roman, Brycen, Joey and David.
Brian grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and was a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School in 1992. Brian was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan who loved his city and childhood friends. He was an excellent soccer and baseball player throughout his adolescents. Brian was also an avid music lover and was proud of his Irish heritage. Brian took pride in his career at Peter Lumber for many years, where he was adored and known as a hard-worker. There wasn't a place he would go where he wasn't known or well loved. Brian loved spending time with his little buddy Beep and baby girl Grace. This is just a brief glimpse into Brian's life. He met so many friends along the way that he adored, cherished and would offer an Irish blessing to -- "May the road rise to meet you and may the wind be always at your back..."
Friends and family are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, January 8th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights where his Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association at https://diabetes.org

Brian was an amazing person and employee. I jokingly referred to him as "the machine" as he was so knowledgeable and efficient at his job that he did the work of two or three people. Loved to talk with him about music and movies. He will be dearly missed and impossible to replace.

Brian's sharp wit and engaging personality won him many friends. As his onetime boss and longtime friend I can attest to the fact that his passing will leave an emptiness in many people and places. May he rest in peace.

Brian was a long time co-worker of mine at Haddonfield Lumber Co., the Home Depot, & Peter Lumber Co. A good guy who knew his stuff about MANY things. He was great to work with and had an extensive customer base who preferred to work with him exclusively. I will surely miss him on so many fronts and will keep a good thought for Val.
