Brian Machado

Brian Alan Machado, 73, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire after a long period of declining health. He was born on June 24, 1951, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the son of the late Antone and Angelina (DeMello) Machado.
Brian was educated in the Dartmouth Public School system in Massachusetts and spent his professional life immersed in the field of computer programming. Over the years, he held various positions, working for companies such as Titleist, Bay State Gas, and Yankee Candle. He also worked independently as a software development consultant for the remainder of his career.
Brian had a deep love for computers, reading, and exploring the unknown. He had a lifelong curiosity about UFOs and paranormal activity and enjoyed watching related content on YouTube. Brian lived simply and was content with the world he created around him.
Brian is survived by his life partner, Fumiyo Okubo of Nashua, NH; his daughter, Kelsey Machado and her partner, Mike Richard of New Bedford, MA; his nieces, Karen Washburn and Lisa Machado; his good friend and neighbor, Jim Dacey; and his beloved cat, Frodo. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Machado.
SERVICES: There are no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the Machado family kindly requests a donation be made in Brian's memory to a charity of your choice.
