Brimfield-Brian C. Molloy, 43, died suddenly on July 16, 2011 with his family by his side. Born in Holyoke on March 3, 1968, he was the son of Lawrence D. and Gail Molloy (Wolfam) of Easthampton. Brian and his family have lived in Brimfield for the past 15 years. Brian was a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, son, and uncle. Brian's love will be greatly missed by his wife and beloved companion, Rene Molloy, along with his cherished children, Josh and Julia. He will never be forgotten by his siblings Kevin Molloy and wife Sandra, Kathleen Wuerth and husband Ron, Stephen Molloy and wife Michelle. In addition, his memories live on within in-laws, Brian Wells and wife Kathleen, Denise Tanguay, father-in-law Raymond Tanguay and wife Luanne, as well as many nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his mother-in-law Denise J. Hebert. He loved to golf, ski, kayak, and run. He delighted in any free time that he got to spend with family and friends. Holding the role of a supervisor, Brian proudly worked for Accellent in Brimfield for over 20 years. Brian's love for life and all it had to offer was seen through his youthful zest and energy that he carried with him. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home on Wednesday. Friends and family may gather on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. to process to St. Christopher's Church for a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy. I met Brian on most of my visits to Brimfield over the past 8 years; he always came across as an enthusiastic, dedicated and positive colleague.
