Brian Ray "Willie" Pigg, 45, of Rock, WV passed away Thursday, January 2, 2026 at WV Medicine Princeton Community Bluefield ER. Born on December 12, 1980, in Bluefield, West Virginia. He was a contractor for heating and cooling systems and known for the kindness he showed to all those around him. A graduate of Montcalm High School, Brian's life was marked by his deep love for the outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Brian is remembered not only for his professional skills but also for his cherished moments with family and friends. He leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Susie Sells Pigg; his son, Brian Pigg Jr; and his daughter, Brianna Pigg. He was the beloved son of Nelson Pigg and Tammy Pigg, both of Rock, WV. Brian also had a special brother, Richard Sheppard of Bluefield, WV, and was dearly loved by his father and mother-in-law, Samuel Sells (Janie) of Abingdon, VA, and Debra Sells of Rock, WV. He was a cherished grandson to Harold "Sunny" and Mildred Pigg of Rock, WV.
Brian was known for his affectionate personality, including a special bond with his beloved dog, Taz, who brought joy to his daily life. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him and love him.
A visitation will be held on January 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Homes in Bluefield, WV. A funeral service will take place the following day, January 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Darrell Bailey officiating, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park after the service. Both events will honor Brian's life and the impact he made on those around him. Tim Cox, Richard Shephard, Rusty Simpson, Bernie Simpson, Brett Ellis, and Shane Vaughn will serve as pall bearers.
Brian Ray Pigg’s spirit and love for life will always be remembered fondly by his family and friends. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home of Bluefield, WV is proud to serve the Pigg family.
