Phyllis Kathleen Pigg, 100, of Colonial Heights, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Born on February 4, 1925 in Appomattox, Virginia, she was the daughter of Lewis L. Andrews and Ruth H. Andrews. She was a devoted wife to her husband George. She was known for her strong faith and cherished spending time with family and friends whenever she could.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Jackie) Wyatt, and son, Gary (Nancy) Tucker.
She was very proud of her grandchildren who brought her an abundance of joy; Ronnie (Trena) Wyatt), Robin Sodan (Robert Sodan), Michael (Francesca) Wyatt, Ainsley Tucker and Allison Tucker.
She was also blessed with great grandchildren, whom she adored; Miranda (Michael) Dougherty, Joshua (Mackenzie) Farley, Travis Wyatt (Celeste Mitchell) and Benjamin Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband George Melvin Pigg, her parents, Lewis L. Andrews and Ruth H. Andrews, her siblings, and other family members.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, located at 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. A private service will follow at the request of the family.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Allison, Peggy and all the wonderful people at Dunlop Village for their support and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colonial Heights Animal Shelter, an organization close to her family’s heart.
Her love, and presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
