Charlene Burton Wall, 95, of South Chesterfield, Va, passed away peacefully on January 24th. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Herbert F. Wall.
Charlene was a lifelong member of Wood’s United Methodist Church, serving in many leadership roles and singing in the Sanctuary Choir, as well as being a Sunday School teacher since age 19.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Colonial Heights chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 on February 5th, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. A brief graveside service will follow on February 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Wood’s United Methodist Church, 7200 Hickory Road, S. Chesterfield, VA 23803.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dunlop House in Colonial Heights for their dedication and wonderful care of Charlene during this last year.
