WALL, David Charles – of Flint, MI, age 64, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5496 Lippincott Blvd., Burton, MI 48519. The family will receive visitors from 10-11 AM Saturday at the church. David was born in Warren, MI on July 8, 1961, son of Kathryn (Radabaugh) and the late Robert Wall. A proud graduate of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI, David cherished his years in the Upper Peninsula. The rugged beauty of the north, the close-knit community, and the spirit of resilience found there remained a meaningful part of who he was. His time at Michigan Tech shaped not only his education but also his appreciation for hard work, friendship, and the outdoors. David later made his mark in downtown Flint, MI, where he spent many years working at Biggby Coffee. More than a job, it was a place where he built lasting connections. With a warm smile and a listening ear, he turned everyday interactions into genuine relationships. He knew the value of remembering a name, a favorite drink, or a familiar face, and in doing so, he became a steady and comforting presence in the community he loved. He found joy in life's simple, meaningful routines. Whether strolling through the Flint Farmers' Market, tending carefully to his home vegetable garden, or riding his e-bike through town, David embraced the everyday moments that bring peace and fulfillment. His garden reflected his patience and care, and his rides through the neighborhood reflected his free spirit and love of fresh air. David will be remembered for his kindness, his gentle strength, and his deep connection to the places and people around him. He lived thoughtfully, gave generously of his time and heart, and left a quiet but lasting impact on all who had the privilege to know him. David is survived by 3 children, Alexander Wall, Noelle (Charlie Patton) Wall and Lauren Wall; grandchild, Shay Patton; mother, Kathryn Wall; sister, Rebecca (Scott) Smith; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wall. Please share your thoughts with the family at
