Brian Patrick Ray September 17, 1966 – September 10, 2025 Brian Patrick Ray, 58, of South Lyon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, just days before his 59th birthday. Born September 17, 1966, in Joliet, Illinois, Brian's life reflected a devotion to family, work, and the quiet joys that make life meaningful. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Ann (Moran) Ray, loving daughter, Sasha Ray. He was the cherished son of Mary Rita (Hasse) Ray and Robert W. Ray, and a dearest brother to Christine (Chuck) Tremper. Brian earned his bachelor's degree from the College of St. Francis, which laid a foundation for a successful career in information technology. In his working years, he was an IT professional with Alliance Inspection Management, where he was admired for his dedication, technical expertise, and his collaborative spirit. Outside of his professional life, Brian treasured spending time with family and finding comfort in the simple pleasure of playing video games-a hobby that brought him joy, laughter, and connection. His cremated remains will be interred at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Joliet, Illinois. In his memory, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, to further research and advocacy in the fight against cancer. Brian will be remembered for his quiet strength, loving heart, and steadfast presence in the lives of those he loved. Though he has passed, his legacy of kindness, loyalty, and gentle care endures. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
