Brian Michael Reid, beloved father, son, and friend, passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on May 7, 1976, Brian was the cherished son of Don and Lynn Reid of Cedar City, Utah.

A proud alumnus of Cedar High School, Brian was a standout athlete, especially in basketball, where he earned recognition as an all-star. His passion for sports continued throughout his life, with a particular love for college basketball and football. Saturdays were sacred to Brian, as he eagerly anticipated College Game Days, often surrounded by his children and the excitement of the season.

Brian pursued higher education earning a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Southern Utah University and went on to receive a master's degree in education counseling.

Above all, Brian was a devoted father to Cody (Emily), Damon, Braydon, and Katy Reid. He found immense joy in golfing with his kids and sharing in their lives and interests.

Brian will be deeply missed by his mother, children, his brother-in-law Jeremy Hulet, and his nephews Jaden (Shanae), Kasen, Brycen, and Tycen Hulet. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly and will carry his memory forward with affection.

He was preceded in death by his father Don Carroll Reid, his brother Brennon Reid, and his sister Stephanie Hulet.

Brian's legacy is one of love and laughter. His presence brought warmth and strength to those around him, and his memory will be long-lived by all who knew him.

A viewing will be held on Friday September 5, 2025 at Southern Utah Mortuary from 10:00-11:30 am. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00pm.
