Brian Nicholas Rindt; a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, passed away on September 20, 2025. Known for his generosity and quiet, tranquil nature, Brian inspired many as he led his life in all devotion and dignity.

Born on February 22, 1959, in Wisconsin, Brian began his legacy through selfless acts of kindness, forming deep connections along the way. Brian began his hard-work ethic at an early age helping stock oil at the family gas station. He continued his craft as a mechanic, towing alongside Harvey, his father. He used his skills and passions for being on the water as a boat mechanic at Skipper Buds. For almost 15 years, Brian and his wife, Maureen, managed the Rindt family gas station together as it moved from "the top of the hill" to the corner of College and Racine. But his adventurous spirit led him to travel the country as a tour bus driver and later a semi-truck and dump-truck driver. Not only did he travel by land, but he had also many experiences in the air as a pilot in his early years, and on the water – owning a boat since the age of 16.

A proud veteran, Brian served as a Sergeant in the US Army stationed in Texas, Virginia, and Germany specializing in helicopter mechanics. His service to his country instilled in him a sense of duty and pride that remained with him throughout his life. Brian always said, "the military makes or breaks you" …it "made" him.

Beyond his strong desire to serve and help others, Brian was an accomplished musician. His talents on the piano, trumpet, and as a tenor and bass in church choirs were a testament to his passion for music. While he was a quiet and reserved man, music was an outlet to express his soul in order to encourage others and praise God.

Brian, devoted to his wife, Maureen, of 44 years, held immense pride in his family of 5 children and 12 grandchildren. Nothing brought him more joy than having family gatherings at any time of the day at his home enjoying a BBQ or on the water boating at Lake Beulah and Lake Michigan. There was no limit to his generosity of time spent supporting his children and grandchildren when there were projects needing a creative solution.

Brian is survived by his children, Christina Kuenzi (Bob), Danny Rindt (Mandy), Jamie Papa (Mike), Jessica Garcia (Aaron), and Melinda Rindt, who continue to honor his memory. He was a cherished Grandpa to Evelyn, Liam, Bella, Charlotte, Kinsley, Gracie, Joe, Eden, Paisley, Alayna, Brianna, and Maya. He is remembered fondly by his siblings Scott Rindt (Shirley), Steve Rindt (Rhona), and Beth Rindt (Sam Wills). His extended family, including his mother-in-law Nancy Marasch, and brother-in-law Mike Marasch (Denise) and sister-in laws Mary Marasch, Kris Holm, Kathi Chapin (Brian), held a special place in his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Joan Rindt.

The Rindt family is eternally grateful for the loving, compassionate care by each member of the Prohealth Cancer Care team and Froedtert Cancer Center throughout Brian's Acute Myeloid Leukemia diagnosis as well as the selfless act of kindness of his bone marrow donor.
