On June 1, 1980, Brian married the love of his life, Yvonne Rodbell. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and an enduring commitment to family. Brian is survived by his children, Heather (Tyler), Kaitlyn (Austin), and Danielle, as well as his treasured grandchildren, Logan (Amy), Hadley, Harper, Jane, and Oliver. His family was the center of his universe, and his legacy of love and strength lives on in each of them.
Brian dedicated much of his professional life to advancing science and technology. As a Network Systems Administrator at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, his technical expertise and unwavering commitment secured the resources necessary to maintain and create reliable operations and critical missions that contributed to the exploration and expansion of the use of space.
Throughout his life, Brian was known for his generous spirit, passion and dedication to uplifting others. His friends, colleagues, and all who had the honor of knowing him remember his infectious charm, his keen intellect, and a heart that was always open to support and encourage. To love him was to know the man and his unwavering commitment to doing things the right way.
He could fix anything and would do so joyously. If he were here now he would be mending our hearts.
