Brian Federico Salgado

Brian Federico Salgado, age 24, passed away on May 8, 2024. He was born on November 26, 1999, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Federico Salgado and Adela Castillo. 

 

A visitation will be held Monday, May 20, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 12:00 p.m. located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor David Rice and Pastor Daniel Marin. Burial will be held at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108. Honoring Brian as pallbearers will be Hector Diaz, Johnathan Sanchez, Apolinar Morales, Gerardo Salgado, Brandon Morales, Joel Ramirez, Marco Ochoa, and Robert Najera. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Federico Salgado.

 

Brian graduated from North DeSoto High School in 2018. At one time he was a volunteer firefighter in Stonewall and most recently was a server at several different restaurants in Shreveport-Bossier: Ramírez, Superior Grill and Nicky’s. 

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Pedro Nieto. He is survived by his parents, Federico Salgado and Adela Castillo; sisters, Claudia and Nancy; brother, Hector; nephews, Jonathan, Christian, and Sebastian; uncles, Apolinar Morales and Gerardo Salgado; aunts, Columba, Zeferina, Blanca, and Alejandra; cousins, Jacqueline, Miguel, and Brandon.
