Brian James Sarnowski, age 63 of Capac passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born May 5, 1961 the son of Donald J. & Theresa (Nebulone) Sarnowski in Detroit. Brian graduated from Carl Brablec High School in Roseville. During high school he began working at Key Welder, learning the welding trade, then several years later began working at General Motors as an assembler. Brian enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and always loved fishing. He was an avid bowler from his youth, bowling in several leagues, one of his favorites was at Apollo Lanes and more recently he enjoyed bowling at Almont Hideaway Lanes. He played guitar and really enjoyed rocking out to his music. He loved spending time with his son Nicholas and talking about his daughter Sabrina.
Brian is survived by his loving children: Nicholas Sarnowski of Capac, Melanie Sarnowski of Capac, Sabrina and Christopher. He is also survived by his siblings: Alan (Lori) Sarnowski of Fraser and Cindy (Daren) Borza of Warren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 5:00-7:00pm with the Celebration of Life Service held at 7:00pm, all at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S. Van Dyke, Imlay City, MI 48444. Donations can be made to the family's wishes. Please share a story or photos on the Memory Page for Brian at www.muirfh.com
