It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Shea, A.K.A Flynn Shea who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 69. Flynn was surrounded by his family and friends at his home while he was under hospice care after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Peggy (Morrisey) Shea, and his paternal grandparent Michael and Mary (Griffin) Shea, and his maternal grandparents Patrick and Agnes (Reidy) Morrisey. Flynn is survived by his three brothers, Tommy (Joanne), James (Carol), and Michael (Debbie), and his sister Maureen (Al) Shea-Keicher. Flynn worked in the construction field for 30 years as a piledriver in Local #276 for the carpenters union in Buffalo. Flynn was a talented musician, and he played the drums in several local bands. He was also an accomplished stained-glass artist for most of his life. He made custom stained glass artwork for his family and friends. Flynn loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and he enjoyed getting out for a ride on the open road on one of his three Harleys. Flynn was very close with his entire family, especially his nieces and nephews, and all of his cousins. Most of all Flynn was a kind and generous person who enjoyed life and he would go out of his way to help someone have a good day. He would gladly give the shirt off his own back to anyone that needed it. He loved dogs and music, especially all of the Beatles songs. Flynn will forever be remembered for his unique sense of humor.
