Brian Sheedy Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John L. Sheedy and Nancy J. (Kienzle) Sheedy.
Brian loved his work as an electrician at Wyeth, where he took great pride in his craft. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and camping with family and friends. He also carried on a deep appreciation for trains, a passion handed down from his grandfather, who was a Telegrapher, Fireman, Engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Brian was a true Philadelphia sports fan, he could often be found cheering on his beloved Eagles. He was usually found relaxing with a good beer and spending time with family
Surviving along with his wife Bridget of 34 years, are his daughters Beth Capetola, wife of Chad; and Brittany Armstrong, wife of Dean; brother Dennis Sheedy, husband of Joanne; sister Nancy Lynn McNulty, wife of the late James; grandchildren Wyatt Capetola and Garett Capetola; his beloved grand cat and grand dogs; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd (329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468). A time of sharing remembrances will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org/) in Brian's name.
