After a courageous battle with cancer, Brian E. Snyder, 76, formerly of Nazareth, passed away peacefully while surrounded by tremendous love and family on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at his home in Lower Nazareth Township. He and his loving wife, Denise K. (Staples) Snyder, celebrated 55 wonderful years of marriage on October 3rd.

Born in Fountain Hill, Brian was a son of the late Harold R. Sr. and Bertha M. (Broad) Snyder. After graduating from Nazareth High School, he honorably served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. A member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #773, Allentown, Brian enjoyed a successful career as a professional truck driver, which spanned more than 35 years, working for various transportation firms before retiring in 2015. He was also a member of the Nazareth American Legion Post 415 as well as the VFW Post 4366, where he formerly served in several position including president, quartermaster, and commander, a testament of his patriotism.

Throughout his lifetime, Brian was a racing enthusiast and a huge fan of NASCAR, and for many years, he was actively involved, in some capacity, with racing at the former Nazareth Speedway.

A proud patriarch, he was always happiest as the doting father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who never missed an opportunity to attend the sporting events and activities of his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Brian was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Denise, he will be dearly missed by his three daughters, Tracy Baker and husband, Willard, of Bethlehem, Tara Merkle and husband, Bill, and Tonya Reph and husband, Jeremy, both of Northampton; six grandchildren, Raine Moskella and husband, Tony, Trey Baker, Ty and Brody Merkle, and Caden and Colby Reph; two great-granddaughters, Hadley and Emery; three brothers, Marlyn Snyder of Moore Township, Harold R. "Junior" Snyder, Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Nazareth, and John Schey and wife, Vickie, of New York; a sister, Grace Crowther and husband, Bob, of Palmer Township; along with many nieces and nephews.

Brian was predeceased by three brothers, Edward B., Glenn B., and Lambert H. Snyder.
